The Finance, Planning and Administration Committee visit

The Finance Committee, Planning and Governance from the Mkalama District Council has made its visit yesterday  where they  visited various Specific Development projects relating to the Education and Water sector.

During the visit to the  Executive Council of the Governing Body visited construction of the Exhibition Hall and the Modern Conference, special school for children with special needs, Kinyangiri Village, The built of a modern school board for girls in Iguguno high school,  the Block Suburb  for modern classes and toilet schools in the Kibololo Primary School, the  built of  a boarding school for students of High School in Iguguno, Senene Village with classrooms and modern toilets at the Senene  Primary School, built for classes at Tumuli Primary School, Mgolombyo Campsite and Nyahaa Village are being built on the Village Water Project.

In all the villages that the Committee has passed together, the committee members are led by the Chairperson of the Mkalama District District Council. James Mkwega ordered the School Committees to concentrate on raising the profession rather than dealing with school financing alone.

The committee also issued a warning to all alcoholism teachers who should be in class where they ordered village leaders to arrest these teachers and all those drinking with them and to bring them to police stations.

In addition to teachers who are drinking alcohol at work, the Committee has also banned all students in the Mkalama District from appearing at the leisure halls, watching at television shows watching the ball and using mobile phones all the time at school or at home where a student will ignore the order he will be taken action with him and his parent.

Concluding their visit to the village of Nyahaa, members of the committee were saddened by the contractor's speed in the implementation of the village water project the long-term concern of the people where they ordered the contractor to complete the project by the end of this month otherwise The law will be taken against it.

The visit of various committees of the Mkalama District Council takes place regularly and the main objective is to reach and evaluate all areas funded by government and various development stakeholders.
